Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland is a model and actor. Her first feature film appearance was a tiny part in The James Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Then, later she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan donavan was in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987. Charlotte played Taffin (in 1998) and Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody started modeling after being offered by an experienced photographer. It led to an impressive career as a commercial model. Doody strove to avoid glamour and nude roles, that was a rule she applied in her acting. When she was spotted by the casting director for a James Bond movie, she was cast in A View to a Kill as Jenny Flex. Doody was in John Willis Screen World Volume 2, as one 12 promising new actors for 1986. 38. Doody was only aged 18 when she made her debut in the Bond character. Today she's the newest Bond girl. A Prayer for the Dying which starred Mickey Rourke also had a performance by Doody, playing IRA Siobhan. Doody was seen as Archibald Craven in his dreams in the 1987 version from The Secret Garden.
